Alia Reveals How She and Ranbir Split Baby Duties: 'Management is Me, Fun & Games is Him'
October 27, 2024: Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have been quite open about their experiences as new parents to their daughter, Raha. Recently, Alia appeared on Kareena Kapoor’s show What Women Want, where she shared some insights into how she and Ranbir divide baby duties. Alia revealed that she handles most of the “management” tasks, while Ranbir is more about the “fun and games.”
In the candid conversation, Alia explained, “I’m in charge of managing things for Raha, while Ranbir takes on the playful, fun side.” Kareena chimed in, saying, “Management is easy, Alia. Because we are instructing people, like, ‘Do this, get the food, etc.’ That’s how Saif and I are with our kids too.” The two laughed over how fathers often get to do the fun things, while the moms take on the more practical responsibilities.
Ranbir’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor, also shared her thoughts on their parenting approach in an interview with Hauterrfly. She said, “When Alia is working, Ranbir steps in and takes over with a lot of love. His eyes shine when he’s with his child. Alia is an amazing mom, but Ranbir is there when she’s busy, looking after Raha with utmost care.”
Alia Bhatt has been busy balancing her career and motherhood. She was recently seen in Vasan Bala’s Jigra, her second production under her banner, Eternal Sunshine Pictures. Her next project, Alpha, is a groundbreaking, female-led film in YRF’s spy universe, co-starring Sharvari.
