"All Of Us Are Dead" S2: New Horrors, New Faces, Filming Begins!
July 23, 2025: Get ready for more heart-pounding action with zombies! Netflix’s “All of Us Are Dead,” a Korean zombie thriller that became a huge hit around the world after its 2022 premiere, is already officially in production for Season 2.
The series was a huge hit for Netflix, with over 560 million viewing hours in just 28 days after it premiered. It is based on Joo Dong-geun’s popular web comic. It continuously made the Top 10 non-English TV lists in more than 90 countries, making it a global phenomenon.
New problems and survivors coming back
The main character, Nam On-jo, who is now in college, will be the focus of Season 2. Park Ji-hu, who played the character in the first season, will return to play him. On-jo is a college student in Seoul who is still dealing with the trauma from her terrifying experience at Hyosan High School. But her new stability is broken as a new wave of illness hits the city, forcing On-jo to fight for her life again against the never-ending zombie hordes.
The second season will bring a lot of new characters to the ensemble, which will contribute to the story and change the way the fight for survival works.
Lee Min-jae, Kim Si-eun, and Yoon Ga-i join the cast as three tough seniors in college. These new characters have come up with their own ways to stay alive, which suggests that they are more seasoned and maybe even cynical about the end of the world.
Roh Jae-won plays Han Du-seok, the leader of the National Intelligence Service team, which adds even more interest. As government forces deal with the new outbreak, their presence is likely to add new levels of stress and maybe complicated moral questions to the plot.
The season will also look into what is happening with the people who survived the original Hyosan pandemic. Cheong-san (Yoon Chan-young), Nam-ra (Cho Yi-hyun), and Su-hyeok (Lomon) are all coming back, and they are fan favorites. They will have to deal with the problems of life after an epidemic while also dealing with the horrifying return of the infection, which shows how their prior experiences have affected them.
Lee JQ and Kim Nam-su, the well-known directorial combination, are back behind the camera for the next edition. This will keep the series’ unique visual style and intensity going. They will be working from a script by Chun Sung-il, who is coming back to write it. This guarantees a story that flows well and is exciting.
