Allu Arjun Meets Chiranjeevi After Getting Interim Bail

December 15, 2024: After being granted interim bail, actor Allu Arjun, who had spent a night in judicial custody, visited the residence of his uncle, superstar Chiranjeevi, in Hyderabad on Sunday. The actor, known for his role in Pushpa 2: The Rule, was granted bail on Saturday after furnishing a personal bond of Rs 50,000. His release brought a wave of support from family, friends, and colleagues from the film industry.

Allu Arjun’s visit to Chiranjeevi’s home was a moment of solidarity, with his family and well-wishers gathering to offer their support. Among those who showed up at Allu Arjun’s Jubilee Hills residence in Hyderabad were his cousin and Chiranjeevi’s wife, Surekha, who made a visit to meet her nephew. Actors Rana Daggubati, Naga Chaitanya, and Vijay Deverakonda, as well as Pushpa 2 director Sukumar, were also seen at the residence, exchanging warm greetings with Allu Arjun.

Following his release, Allu Arjun addressed the media, expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support from fans, friends, and family. “I thank everyone for the love and support. I want to thank all my fans. There is nothing to worry about. I am fine. I am a law-abiding citizen and will cooperate. I would like to once again express my condolences to the family. It was an unfortunate incident. We are sorry for what happened,” he said.

The incident leading to his arrest occurred during the screening of Pushpa 2: The Rule on December 4, at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. A massive crowd had gathered for the film’s premiere, and things escalated when Allu Arjun waved to his fans from the sunroof of his vehicle, allegedly triggering the chaos. Police claim this contributed to a stampede-like situation, resulting in the tragic death of a woman named Revathi, while her son was injured.

Although initially placed in judicial custody for 14 days by a lower court, Allu Arjun’s legal team challenged the ruling, and the Telangana High Court granted him interim bail on Saturday. He spent the night in jail before his release.

Despite the unfortunate incident, Allu Arjun’s latest film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, continues to break box office records, with audiences flocking to theaters for the much-awaited sequel. The actor’s resilience and the unwavering support from his family and colleagues seem to be helping him navigate this challenging period.
