Allu Arjun Shares Son's Note Ahead of Pushpa 2 Release; Rashmika Reflects on Journey with BTS Pics
December 5, 2024: Pushpa 2: The Rule, one of the most anticipated films of the year, is set for a grand release on December 5. As fans eagerly await the sequel to Sukumar’s 2021 blockbuster, the film’s lead actors, Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, shared emotional moments and reflections ahead of the premiere.
Ahead of the release, Allu Arjun took to Instagram to share a heartfelt, handwritten note from his 10-year-old son, Ayaan. The emotional letter expressed Ayaan’s pride in his father’s hard work and dedication, describing Allu Arjun as his “forever hero and idol.”
The note read:
“Dear Nana, I’m writing this note to express how proud I am of you and your success, hard work, passion, and dedication. When I see you at number one, I feel on top of this world. Pushpa is not just a movie but a reflection of your love and passion for acting. No matter the outcome, you’ll always be my hero. From: The proudest son in the world.”
Allu Arjun, in his caption, expressed his gratitude, writing, “Touched by my son Ayaan’s love. One of my biggest achievements by far. Lucky to have such love (he is a child, so please pardon some parts of exaggeration).”
Co-star Rashmika Mandanna also shared her excitement on Instagram, posting behind-the-scenes photos from the film’s shoot. The pictures captured candid moments with Allu Arjun and director Sukumar, along with other glimpses from the set and promotions.
In a heartfelt note, Rashmika thanked the entire team, writing, “Pushpa 2 is releasing tomorrow, and I am overwhelmed with emotions. This film has deeply connected with me on a personal level like no other. From learning the Chittoor slang during COVID to shooting for so many years, this journey has been unforgettable.”
She expressed her gratitude to Allu Arjun, Sukumar, and the production team, adding, “Allu Arjun sir, from being scared to even talk to you to searching for you on set to ask if my shot was okay—thank you. Sukumar sir, you’ve been an incredible mentor. Mythri Movie Makers, my home production, you’ve always believed in me.”
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule continues the story of Pushpa Raj, exploring his battles in the red sandalwood smuggling world. Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil reprise their roles as Pushpa Raj, Srivalli, and Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.
