Though there has been no official confirmation about a joint project, the unexpected meeting has raised hopes among fans of a major crossover in the making. Aamir Khan is currently working on his upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par, while Allu Arjun is riding high on the success of Pushpa 2: The Rule, which collected a staggering ₹1,742 crore at the global box office.

Adding fuel to the excitement, Allu Arjun is already deep into preparations for his next film with Jawan director Atlee. The project, tentatively titled AA22XA6, promises to showcase Arjun in a never-seen-before raw and rugged avatar. According to reports, Arjun is undergoing intense physical and psychological training for the role. A source close to the development told India Today, “Allu takes his preparations very seriously, both physically and psychologically. The look tests have already started. Lloyd and his crew are developing a transformation program that focuses not only on bulking up but also on agility, strength, and a rawness that is consistent with the character.”

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par is scheduled for theatrical release on June 20, 2025. The film, starring Aamir Khan, Darsheel Safary, and Genelia Deshmukh, will also mark the debut of ten new child actors. The recently released first-look poster has already generated plenty of excitement.
