December 6, 2024: Allu Arjun has rewritten box office history with Pushpa 2: The Rule, delivering the biggest Hindi opening ever recorded. The action-packed sequel has shattered records previously held by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, firmly establishing Allu Arjun as a pan-India sensation.
According to early estimates, Pushpa 2 earned an extraordinary ₹67–₹69 crore on its opening day in Hindi. These numbers are expected to climb further with late-night shows being added to meet overwhelming demand. The current figures already ensure several milestones for the film.
The Hindi box office throne, previously occupied by Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan (₹65.5 crore), has now been claimed by Pushpa 2. To put it in perspective, the sequel’s day-one earnings already amount to nearly 63% of the lifetime earnings of Pushpa: The Rise in Hindi.
