Allu Arjun’s Pushpa Responsible for Spoiling School Kids Claims Hyderabad Teacher, Raises Concerns

A government school teacher in Hyderabad claims Pushpa 2 has led to students adopting unruly behavior and skipping school.

February 24, 2025: The Pushpa craze refuses to die down, but not everyone is celebrating it. While Allu Arjun’s portrayal of Pushpa Raj in Pushpa: The Rise (2021) and Pushpa 2: The Rule (2024) has made him a global sensation, a government school teacher from Yousufguda, Hyderabad has raised a red flag over its impact on schoolchildren.

Pushpa 2: ‘Spoiling’ Kids?

During a recent meeting with the Education Commission, school teachers and headmasters expressed concerns about the increasing influence of films on students. A headmistress from Yousufguda particularly called out Pushpa 2, stating that it has turned students into “spoiled brats.”

According to a report by Glute and Free Press Journal, the teacher claimed that:

  • Students are skipping school more frequently.
  • Their behavior has worsened, picking up aggressive tendencies and foul language.
  • Hairstyles inspired by Pushpa have become a trend, making discipline harder.
  • Even parents are indifferent, showing little concern about their children’s habits.

“They don’t behave well and pick up bad language from their streets and homes. Especially, their hairstyle is very odd, and when we try to tell them to change it, they pay no ear to us,” she reportedly said.
