Amitabh Bachchan Deletes Erroneous AI Image, Pens Emotional Note on Humility
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan recently took to his personal blog to issue a clarification after he had shared, and subsequently deleted, an image generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI) that turned out to be inaccurate.
The incident highlights the growing pains even celebrities face in the digital age. After removing the problematic photo, the actor made sure to explain the reason behind the deletion, saying, “There was an error in the earlier AI-generated image, so I deleted it. Thank you, Ef mL, for pointing it out.”
He followed this with a philosophical take on the situation, reflecting on the nature of mistakes: “Kuch cheezein ghalat ho jaati hai aur kch sahi!! Sahi sahi, toh ghalat ghalat (Some things go wrong and some right!! If the right is right, then the wrong is wrong)??!!”
The clarification quickly transitioned into a deeply personal and emotional note. The actor, known for his poise, expressed his sincere dedication to always doing his best, humbly acknowledging his roots.
“Toh ka kar lebo bhaiyya, hum gaon ke hai, chote manayi! Jitna ho sakta hai, kar dete hai, nahi ho sakta toh, haath paon dono jod dete hai (What can I do, brother? We’re from the village! We do whatever we can; if we can’t, we fold hands and feet both)!” he wrote, an endearing statement that resonated with fans.
He then shifted the focus to a universal truth: the value of humanity. “There is no one small or big .. we are all born big .. as humans .. being a human is big .. realise it and live it,” he added, delivering a profound message amid a minor technological blunder.
To visually accompany his words, the actor also shared a striking black and white photo of himself. In the picture, seemingly clicked on the sets of his popular game show, Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), Amitabh is seen folding his hands in a gesture of respect and bowing slightly, all while wearing a warm smile.
Sharing the same photo on X (formerly Twitter), he added a fitting caption, underscoring the ephemeral nature of all things: “T 5556 – समय समय की बात होती है (It’s a matter of time)!!!”
Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in the 2024 Tamil-language action drama Vettaiyan, directed by T. J. Gnanavel, which also featured South Indian superstar Rajinikanth, along with Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, and Manju Warrier. The film officially marked the veteran actor’s Tamil debut. He has yet to announce his next project.
The actor currently hosts KBC Season 17, which premiered on August 11. It airs Monday to Friday at 9 pm on Sony Entertainment Television and streams on SonyLIV.
