Amitabh Bachchan was spotted exuding enthusiasm as he supported his team, Majhi Mumbai, during the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) finals against the Tigers of Kolkata at the Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Thane.
Videos capturing the superstar in high spirits have quickly gone viral, showcasing him dressed in a white hoodie paired with black joggers and sports shoes, fully engrossed in the game’s fervor.
Accompanied by his son, acclaimed actor Abhishek Bachchan, the dynamic duo was seen fully engaged in the thrilling final match. Adding to the star power, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar was also present, cheering alongside the Bachchans.
Owned by Amitabh Bachchan, Majhi Mumbai has made a striking entry into the ISPL, marking its significance as the league’s first-ever tennis ball cricket tournament to be hosted inside a stadium. The team secured their spot in the finals with a commanding 58-run victory over Chennai Singams, setting the stage for an exhilarating showdown with the Tigers of Kolkata.
The ISPL, inaugurating its first edition, has witnessed competitive matches among six teams, including Srinagar ke Veer, Chennai Singams, and Bangalore Strikers, since its start on March 6. This innovative league has introduced a fresh format to cricket, garnering attention and excitement.
On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan is gearing up for his role in the much-anticipated sci-fi action thriller ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ starring alongside Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. Additionally, he’s involved in the courtroom drama ‘Section 84’.
