March 19, 2025: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan recently took to Instagram to express his immense pride and affection for his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan, who was recently honored at a film festival in Tashkent.

The younger Bachchan’s popularity was evident as he received a warm reception from the audience, who even sang along to his songs. Amitabh couldn’t help but share his joy with his followers, posting, “Abhishek you being honoured in Tashkent, the love of the people there for you singing your songs… a very proud moment for me as a father… and now trending on number 1 for your latest #behappy… all blessings and love.”

Abhishek Bachchan’s presence at the festival went beyond just being an actor. He actively engaged with the fans, took part in interviews with the local media, and embraced Uzbek culture during his time there. His film Ghoomer was one of the highlights of the festival, garnering significant attention.

This heartfelt public acknowledgment from Amitabh Bachchan is far from the first time the veteran actor has shown his love for his son’s work. In fact, after the release of Abhishek’s film I Want to Talk, Amitabh took to his personal blog to express how deeply the film affected him. He wrote about his son’s portrayal of Arjun Sen, saying, “Abhishek… you are not Abhishek… you are ARJUN SEN of the film. Let them say what they say,” showing his unwavering belief in his son’s craft and dedication.

The father-son duo’s bond continues to shine, with Amitabh’s heartfelt support always evident in moments of Abhishek’s success.
