“…and Ghibli… invades the world… in the reality of the realm of communication .. and the making of the ‘reel’ .. another now popular concept .. one which demands attention…”

The actor also posted a reel showing the massive crowd of fans gathered outside Jalsa, chanting his name as he stepped out to greet them with folded hands after offering prayers inside his home.

Ghibli Trend Grips Bollywood

The Ghibli-style edit trend — where AI transforms real-life photos into scenes reminiscent of the beloved Japanese animation studio — has found major fans in the Indian entertainment industry.

Parineeti Chopra recently declared she’s “obsessed” with Ghibli edits of her and husband Raghav Chadha. Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, Arjun Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Rakul Preet Singh, and Kiara Advani have all embraced the trend, often reposting fan-made AI animations on social media.
