Amitabh Bachchan expresses immense pride and shares a heartfelt message for his grandson Agastya Nanda, who plays Param Vir Chakra awardee Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal in Sriram Raghavan’s upcoming war drama, Ikkis.


Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan has shared an emotional and deeply personal message after watching the trailer of his grandson, Agastya Nanda’s, upcoming film, Ikkis. Taking to his blog, the megastar recalled holding baby Agastya and expressed his pride as his grandson now prepares for his big cinematic moment.

Amitabh Bachchan’s Heartfelt Blessing

Amitabh Bachchan reflected on Agastya’s journey from childhood to his debut on the big screen, wishing him immense success.

“Agastya! I held you in my hands as soon as you were born .. few months later, I held you again in my hands and your soft fingers reached out to play with my beard .. Today, you play in theatres all over the world,” he wrote.

The actor concluded his message with profound blessings, hoping Agastya’s work will bring honor to the entire family. “You are special.. all my prayers and blessings to you .. may you ever bring glory to your work and the greatest PRIDE for the family,” he added.

Agastya Nanda Headlines War Drama Ikkis

The trailer for the upcoming war drama, Ikkis, was recently unveiled, highlighting Agastya Nanda’s powerful role. He is set to portray Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, India’s youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra. Khetarpal was just 21 when he demonstrated exceptional courage during the Indo-Pak War.

The trailer provides a look into the young soldier’s life, showcasing his intensive training at the National Defence Academy and his fierce commitment to bringing glory to the nation through his “courage and conviction.” It centers on Arun’s determined vow to earn the prestigious Param Vir Chakra for his regiment, setting the stage for a compelling military action film.
