The highly anticipated film ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ featuring legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone, has finally premiered in theaters. The movie has received glowing reviews, with audiences praising the star-studded cast and the impressive visual effects.
Moviegoers from Mumbai and its suburbs have expressed their appreciation for the film, highlighting its engaging nature. One Mumbai resident remarked, “It’s a wonderful film. The visual effects are extraordinary, and Amitabh Bachchan’s performance is outstanding.” A fervent fan of the veteran actor added, “This is Amitabh Bachchan’s film.”
Another viewer shared, “The film is completely captivating, and the visual effects enhance the entertainment value. The storyline makes it a must-watch.” A businessman who attended the screening commented, “Everyone delivered excellent performances. Amitabh sir was at his best. While the songs and background music were decent, the visual effects truly stood out.”
The direction of the film also garnered praise. An Andheri resident noted, “Big B’s portrayal of Ashwatthama is unmatched. Prabhas remains evergreen, and Deepika’s performance was commendable. The film delivers a strong message with a robust storyline and exceptional visual effects. Big B is the film’s highlight, and the plot is compelling.”
However, not all feedback was entirely positive. One Mumbai resident pointed out some shortcomings, saying, “There are several flaws. While the special effects and background music are satisfactory, the film struggles to keep the audience fully engaged, and the plot can be confusing.”
Recently, the filmmakers unveiled a captivating poster featuring Kamal Haasan’s character, Yaskin, with the caption, “The one and only SUPREME YASKIN.. @ikamalhaasan.” Since the trailer’s release, Kamal Haasan’s new look has been making waves. Renowned director SS Rajamouli of ‘RRR’ fame commented, “I am still struck by Kamal sir’s look and his ability to amaze. Nagi… can’t wait to immerse into your world on the 27th.”
Directed by Nag Ashwin, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is a post-apocalyptic film inspired by Hindu scriptures and set in the distant future of 2898 AD. The cast also includes Disha Patani, adding to the film’s star power.
