Amitabh Bachchan to Make Cameo in Gujarati Sequel ‘Fakt Purusho Maate’

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is set to make a special appearance in the highly anticipated Gujarati film sequel, “Fakt Purusho Maate.” This film follows the 2022 release “Fakt Mahilao Maate,” directed by Jay Bodas and produced by Anand Pandit and Vaishal Shah.

“Fakt Purusho Maate” is a family drama that delves into themes of gender equality and generational conflicts. In this sequel, Amitabh Bachchan will portray a divine character, adding a unique dimension to the story. Film producer Anand Pandit recently shared photos with Bachchan on Instagram, sparking excitement among fans.

Anand Pandit expressed his admiration for Bachchan’s exceptional energy and dedication. “We shot with Mr. Bachchan on June 6, and everyone on set was in awe of his energy, dedication, and legendary professionalism,” Pandit said in a statement. He emphasized Bachchan’s importance to the film, adding, “He played a special role in ‘Fakt Mahilao Maate’ and it’s hard to imagine a project without him. Anyone who has worked with him once wants to work with him again.”

Producer Vaishal Shah also highlighted Bachchan’s role in the sequel, stating, “Mr. Bachchan plays a fascinating role in this sequel and is central to the story’s development. His enduring stardom is indescribable, and this film will once again showcase why he remains a legend.”

Directed by Jay Bodas and Parth Trivedi, “Fakt Purusho Maate” features a talented cast including Yash Soni, Mitra Gadhvi, Esha Kansara, and Darshan Jariwala. Produced by Anand Pandit and Vaishal Shah, the film is set for release around Janmashtami in 2024.
