Amy Adams Recalls The Time When She Shared karaoke Stage With Taylor Swift

December 5, 2024: Amy Adams recently shared a humorous and memorable story about her one and only meeting with pop sensation Taylor Swift, which took place "years ago" during a karaoke session at a post-awards show party.

During her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Adams reminisced about the night, admitting she may have gotten a bit too carried away while singing. "I may have sung it a little loud," she confessed, adding that some people at the party likely wished she would be quiet so they could hear Taylor Swift.

Adams recalled, "It was at a party after an awards show. I know better than to go to the second party, but I chose to go, and Taylor Swift was there. There was karaoke, and I sang karaoke with Taylor Swift. We sang 'What's Going On?'" While she fully embraced the moment, she reflected that, in hindsight, she might have held back a little to let Swift take the spotlight.

Despite her loud rendition, Adams said she had no regrets about the experience. "I had a blast," she said. "And now, in hindsight, if I were to do it again, I'd like to think I'd act differently. But I did the right thing. I sang really loud over Taylor Swift--probably not very well." The story, which might have been slightly embarrassing for her husband, Darren Le Gallo, and her 14-year-old daughter, Aviana, was clearly a fun and memorable moment for Adams.

Adams also touched on her recent experience as a fan of Taylor Swift’s music, revealing that she attended Swift's Eras Tour in August 2023. "I've always liked her music and appreciated her," Adams said. "And then I went to the Eras Tour—a friend of mine had a ticket—and I became, like, a Swiftie at 50." She joked, "I'm a Swiftie at 50, so I'm like a shifty 50 Swiftie. And then I'm like, 'Isn't that nifty?'"

The Enchanted and Arrival actress also praised Swift’s performances and became an even bigger fan after attending the concert, emphasizing her admiration for Swift's artistry and music.

Amy Adams, widely known for her roles in films like Enchanted, Arrival, The Fighter, and The Master, continues to charm both on screen and in her real-life moments, including these lighthearted recollections of her encounters with pop culture.
