May 5, 2025: Hours after Babil Khan’s tearful video about feeling alienated and bullied in the film industry went viral, Ananya Panday has broken her silence — in her own way. Though she did not directly address the controversy, the actor shared a cryptic Instagram post that has caught public attention.
Babil, son of late actor Irrfan Khan, had mentioned several celebrities in the now-deleted video — including Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav, and Arijit Singh — while describing Bollywood as “the most fakest industry” and alleging bullying.
Following the video’s circulation and mounting concern from fans over Babil’s emotional state, Ananya posted a carousel of recent pictures under the caption: “Final touches and a little bit of this and that.” One of the slides featured a quote from Hagrid, the beloved character from Harry Potter: “What’s comin’ will come and we’ll meet it when it does.”
The timing of the post has led to speculation that it may be a subtle response to the ongoing online discourse surrounding Babil’s comments.
As of now, Babil has deleted his Instagram account, and no direct statements have been issued by any of the celebrities he mentioned in his video.
