‘Andhadhun’ Clocks 6 Years! Ayushmann Khurrana And Tabu celebrate 6th anniversary

The critically acclaimed mystery thriller Andhadhun, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu, and Radhika Apte, has completed six years since its release today.

To celebrate the milestone, both Ayushmann and Tabu took to social media to share special posts commemorating the occasion.

Ayushmann shared an animated video on Instagram, highlighting key scenes from the film and captioned it, “6 saal ho gaye, par yeh suspense abhi tak zinda hai!” (Six years have passed, but the suspense is still alive!). Fans responded enthusiastically, with many requesting a sequel, and comments like “Can we get Andhadhun 2?” and “Deserve a sequel” flooded the post .

Tabu also marked the anniversary by sharing the poster of Andhadhun on her Instagram, adding to the nostalgia.

Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film became a box office success, with Ayushmann receiving the National Film Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of a blind pianist inadvertently caught up in a murder mystery .

The film’s legacy has extended beyond Bollywood, as it was remade in Telugu (Maestro) and Malayalam (Bhramam), underscoring its popularity and unique storytelling .

On the career front, Ayushmann is set to appear in Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming project Daayra, while Tabu is involved in Dune: Prophecy, an international series based on the Dune universe .
