May 2, 2025: Film producer Andrea Iervolino has officially launched a new commercial film label, Aventura, under The Andrea Iervolino Company, debuting it as a key partner on the upcoming action thriller Deep Water.
Directed by Renny Harlin, Deep Water stars Aaron Eckhart, Ben Kingsley, and Nashi—the latter recently seen in China’s blockbuster Creation of the Gods 2, which grossed $385 million worldwide.

The newly minted Aventura label will specialize in high-concept, commercial films aimed at global audiences, offering stories that blend action, suspense, and mass appeal. It will operate alongside Iervolino’s existing slate of auteur and biographical films, including Maserati: The Brothers, Bugatti: The Genius, and Carnival at the End of Days.
“With Aventura, we are expanding our storytelling horizons and aiming to deliver bold, thrilling entertainment to audiences worldwide in 2D and 3D,” said Iervolino, emphasizing the label’s commitment to cinematic diversity.
Deep Water centers on a group of international passengers flying from Los Angeles to Shanghai who are forced to make an emergency landing in shark-infested waters. Stranded and vulnerable, they must fight for survival—against nature and their own fears.
The ensemble cast also includes Wenhan Li, Kelly Gale, Angus Sampson, and Molly Belle Wright.
Principal photography has already taken place in New Zealand, Spain, and China, with additional shoots planned in Rome, where Aventura is also contributing through equity financing and production services.
Deep Water is slated for a wide theatrical U.S. release in 2025 by Magenta Light Studios, while Arclight Films is handling global sales.
