No Bad Blood Between Anees and Shahid

Anees had envisioned a project with Shahid Kapoor in the lead, but creative disagreements led to its cancellation. Addressing the situation, Bazmee said, “I still have that film in my mind. I’m sure it would be a lot of fun working with Shahid. He’s very good! Why shouldn’t I work with him again? I have no anger or hatred for anybody (mujhe kisi se na dushmani hai, na naaraazgi).”

The director emphasized the importance of honesty and clarity in creative collaborations. “When you make a film, there has to be mutual agreement between two people. Both parties need to be honest about their expectations. That’s the only way to avoid confusion,” he added.

Anees acknowledged that creative differences are a natural part of the filmmaking process, explaining that both he and Shahid have their own unique approaches. “I have a certain style of working that I’ve been comfortable with for years, and it’s tough for me to change that now.
