Angelina Jolie Reportedly Planning to Leave Hollywood?
November 25, 2024: Angelina Jolie, celebrated actor and humanitarian, is reportedly gearing up to bid farewell to Hollywood. According to sources, she plans to embark on this new chapter once her six children reach adulthood, reigniting her passion for travel and privacy away from the spotlight.
A source close to Jolie revealed her happiness comes from living abroad and immersing herself in different cultures. “She was happiest when she and the children traveled, soaking up local cultures, learning from tutors, and embracing new ways of life,” shared the insider.
Though she’s currently focused on her Broadway production The Outsiders in New York City, Jolie envisions a return to her nomadic lifestyle. She reportedly plans to reconnect with her European friends and enjoy solitude while exploring the world.
As a devoted mother to Maddox (23), Pax (20), Zahara (19), Shiloh (18), and twins Knox and Vivienne (16), Jolie wants her children to follow their passions. “She encourages her kids to travel and discover their own paths, just as they’ve done growing up outside the U.S.,” said the insider.
In a recent interview, Jolie hinted at her desire to leave the U.S., prioritising her family’s privacy and safety. She explained, “Sometimes, the humanity I found across the world is not what I grew up with here.”
Beyond her love of travel, the move may also create distance between Jolie and her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, following years of tension since their split. While work commitments like her Oscar-buzzing film Maria keep her anchored in Los Angeles for now, Jolie seems determined to pave her way out of Hollywood.
Reports suggest that Pitt finds Jolie’s presence in Los Angeles frustrating, particularly during awards season. One insider claimed, “What bugs him is how she’s marching around town like the queen bee.” With Jolie garnering attention for her new projects, the ex-couple’s paths continue to intersect in the industry.
