Angelina Jolie Urges Brad Pitt to End Legal Battle Over Chateau Miraval

Angelina Jolie is urging Brad Pitt to drop his lawsuit over the sale of her shares in the Chateau Miraval winery, a dispute that has only added fuel to their ongoing legal battles. Pitt accuses Jolie of selling her stakes in the French estate without his consent, allegedly breaching a verbal agreement. Jolie’s legal team counters this claim, stating she offered the shares to Pitt first, but faced last-minute restrictive conditions, including an unacceptable non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

Recent reports by E! News reveal Jolie’s request for the court to compel Pitt to disclose any third-party communications related to a 2016 plane incident involving their eldest son, Maddox. This move is part of her strategy to disprove Pitt’s allegations of physical aggression during the incident. Jolie’s attorney emphasized her plea for peace, stating, “While Angelina again asks Mr. Pitt to end the fighting and finally put their family on a clear path toward healing, unless Mr. Pitt withdraws his lawsuit, Angelina has no choice but to obtain the evidence necessary to prove his allegations wrong.”

Pitt’s legal representatives have dismissed Jolie’s request as a “sensationalist fishing expedition” into Pitt’s personal life, arguing that the dispute should remain focused on the business aspects of the winery and not delve into family law matters. This legal tussle continues the tensions that have persisted since Jolie filed for divorce in 2016 after two years of marriage. The couple, once celebrated for their glamorous union, has since been embroiled in a complex custody battle and now face off in court over financial issues related to their former shared assets.

The Chateau Miraval saga also involves a countersuit by Jolie’s former company, Nouvel, which accuses Pitt of attempting to seize control of the winery and its assets for personal gain following their divorce. As the legal maneuvers continue
