Angry Cardi B Throws Marker At Paps Over Invasive Pregnancy Questions Outside LA Court

Rapper Cardi B had a fiery confrontation with a paparazzo who questioned her about her personal life and pregnancy rumors. The incident occurred just moments after she won a civil lawsuit, fueling her frustration.

September 3, 2025: Rapper Cardi B recently went viral after getting into a fight with a paparazzo outside a Los Angeles courthouse, where she had just won a lawsuit. The fight happened after the paparazzi asked her about reports that she was pregnant and her personal life.

On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, Cardi B became angry with a man photographer who asked her if she was having her fourth kid with her ex-husband Offset. The paparazzo also brought up her reported new boyfriend, NFL player Stefon Diggs, by asking whether there would be “paternity issues.”

Cardi B yelled “Respect women” and “Don’t disrespect me” before throwing a marker at the photographer, making it clear that she was angry. She wondered why a man would think he had the right to ask such personal questions. The conversation was recorded on film and soon spread throughout all social media sites.

The Lawsuit and the Decision
The outburst happened after Cardi B went to court for a civil case brought by her former security guard, Emani Ellis, who said the rapper hit her in 2018. The claim, which asked for millions of dollars in damages, said that Cardi B had spat on Ellis and scratched her face with a fingernail during a violent dispute.

The trial ended quickly, as the jury unanimously found Cardi B not guilty. The rapper said she was relieved outside the courts and that she would not pay “frivolous” claims. She also said she would be ready to countersue anyone who brings a similar claim against her.
