Javed Akhtar and his spouse Shabana Azmi showed up during the celebration. The photographers positioned outside the venue wished him a merry birthday. Wearing matching beige suits, Farhan Akhtar, the lyricist’s son, and his wife Shibani Dandekar joined the party. Anil Kapoor, the evening’s host, looked dapper in a white shirt. Boney and Sanjay Kapoor, Anil’s brothers, also made an appearance during the celebration. One of the photos shows Javed Akhtar posing for the photographers with Farhan, Zoya, Anil, and Boney Kapoor.
The celebration was also attended by director Ashutosh Gowariker, wife of actor Sonam Kapoor, and actor Anand Ahuja. On Wednesday, Javed Akhtar, who has written several hits with screenwriter Salim Khan, became one year older.
