Anil Kapoor Reveals Wife Sunita as Family’s ‘Bigg Boss’ in BTS from Show

Anil Kapoor, who is eagerly anticipating his role as the host of the reality show ‘Bigg Boss OTT 3,’ recently shared a behind-the-scenes video from the set to build excitement among fans. On Saturday, Anil posted the BTS video on his Instagram Stories, showcasing his signature fun-loving personality.

In the video, Anil humorously mentions that his wife, Sunita Kapoor, is the ‘Bigg Boss’ of their family. He said, “My wife, Sunita, is most likely to be the Bigg Boss of the Kapoor family.” Anil also teased what fans can expect from the upcoming season, describing it as “raw entertainment” and promising a “very real, raw, and fun journey.”

On Monday, the makers unveiled a new promo featuring Anil Kapoor, where he assured fans that this season would be a treat. In the clip, the ‘Mr. India’ star is heard saying, “Rule naya, game wahi…. Bhaut ho gaya re jhakkas ab aur hoga kuch khaas,” indicating exciting changes and surprises.

Fans are thrilled to see how Anil Kapoor will interact with the contestants on the show. Expressing his enthusiasm for hosting the third season of ‘Bigg Boss OTT,’ Anil Kapoor stated, “Bigg Boss OTT and I are a dream team! We’re both young at heart; people often say – jokingly – that I’m reverse ageing, but Bigg Boss is – seriously- timeless. It feels a bit like going back to school, trying something new and exciting.”

He added, “Having said that, I’ve always approached all my projects with sincerity and a commitment to hard work, and I’m going to bring that same energy (times 10!) to Bigg Boss! Unscripted reality has something for everyone – laughter, drama, and surprising twists, and I can’t wait to bring my own flavor to it.”

‘Bigg Boss OTT 3’ will premiere on JioCinema from June 21. This spin-off of the immensely popular Bigg Boss franchise initially debuted on Voot, with filmmaker Karan Johar as the host. Bollywood megastar Salman Khan took over hosting duties for the second season.

Meanwhile, on the acting front, Anil Kapoor is set to star in the action-drama ‘Subedaar.’ Directed by Suresh Triveni, known for ‘Tumhari Sulu’ and ‘Jalsa,’ the film is produced by Vikram Malhotra, Suresh Triveni, and Anil Kapoor himself. The official synopsis of ‘Subedaar’ reads: “In an adrenaline-fueled action drama, Subedaar Arjun Singh grapples with civilian life, navigating a strained relationship with his daughter, and societal dysfunction. The man who once fought for the nation must now fight enemies within to protect his home and family.”
