Anil Kapoor Takes Over Bigg Boss OTT 3

Veteran actor Anil Kapoor is stepping into the spotlight as the host of the third season of ‘Bigg Boss OTT’.

The announcement was made on Tuesday, where Kapoor was introduced to the media as the new face of the show. While sharing the stage with ‘Bigg Boss 17’ winner Munawar Faruqui, Kapoor disclosed that Salman Khan, the previous host, is thrilled about this transition.

“Salman ko koi replace nahi kar sakta aur Anil Kapoor ko bhi koi replace nahi kar sakta…bhai (Salman Khan) bhaut khush hai…meri unse baat bhi hui hai …he is very excited and happy knowing that I am doing non fiction,” Anil Kapoor stated, underscoring the irreplaceable nature of both stars.

‘Bigg Boss OTT 3’ is set to premiere on JioCinema from June 21. This show, a spin-off of the highly popular ‘Bigg Boss’ franchise, originally aired on Voot with Karan Johar as the host. The second season saw Bollywood megastar Salman Khan taking over the reins, and now Anil Kapoor is poised to bring his unique energy and charisma to the third season.

Expressing his excitement about hosting, Anil Kapoor remarked, “Bigg Boss OTT and I are a dream team! We’re both young at heart; people often say – jokingly – that I’m reverse ageing, but Bigg Boss is – seriously- timeless. It feels a bit like going back to school, trying something new and exciting.” Kapoor emphasized his commitment to the project, saying, “I’ve always approached all my projects with sincerity and a commitment to hard work, and I’m going to bring that same energy (times 10!) to Bigg Boss! Unscripted reality has something for everyone – laughter, drama, and surprising twists, and I can’t wait to bring my own flavour to it.”

With Anil Kapoor at the helm, fans can expect a season filled with his trademark enthusiasm and dedication, promising an entertaining blend of drama and excitement that ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ is known for.
