February 12, 2025: Veteran actor Annu Kapoor recently met Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav at his residence in Bhopal. The meeting, which took place on Tuesday, was centered around discussions on the cultural heritage of India. Kapoor, who is in Bhopal for his much-awaited Antakshari show, greeted the Chief Minister with a bouquet.
During their interaction, CM Mohan Yadav extended his best wishes for the show, while Annu Kapoor expressed his gratitude by reciting the revered Shiv Tandav Stotra, a hymn from Hindu scriptures. The two also spoke about the rich and diverse cultural roots of the country, emphasizing the significance of languages like Hindi and Sanskrit. Kapoor, reflecting on the unity in diversity of India, highlighted the importance of the national flag as a symbol of the country’s honor and pride.
In addition, CM Yadav shared his thoughts on the enduring presence of Hindi, stating that while Hindi has been present for over 1,000 years, it is, in essence, the “daughter of Sanskrit.”
The meeting ended on a positive note, with both the veteran actor and the Chief Minister celebrating the deep cultural ties that bind the nation together. Kapoor’s Antakshari show, a musical extravaganza featuring the actor alongside Kumarr, has generated a lot of excitement in Bhopal.
