May 11, 2025 : Veteran actor Anupam Kher celebrated Mother’s Day 2025 in a heartwarming way by sharing a delightful video featuring his mother, Dulari Kher, receiving a special gift from him — a new suit. The video, shared on his Instagram, shows a visibly joyful Dulari dancing with glee, capturing the pure bond between mother and son.

Kher captioned the video, “Maa.. maa ka special din.. maa ka naya suit.. maa ka dance.. aur kher kher mein..”

In another Instagram post, Kher shared a picture of his mother with the timeless S.D. Burman song “Meri Duniya Hai Maa” playing in the background. He wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day to all of you! Wishing #MothersDay to ALL! #DulariRocks.”

On the Work Front: ‘Tanvi The Great’ to Premiere at Cannes

Kher is currently in the spotlight for his ambitious directorial venture, ‘Tanvi The Great’, which is all set to premiere at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2025, under the Marche du Film category.

The film stars Karan Tacker, known for Special Ops and Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, marking his big-screen debut. Kher unveiled the film’s poster on Tacker’s birthday, showcasing him as Captain Samar Raina, an Indian Army soldier.

Kher praised Tacker’s performance in an emotional birthday message:
“Karan has this unique ability to make his performances look effortless while still carrying the weight of a seasoned actor… You will love him in TTG!”

‘Tanvi The Great’ also features Game of Thrones star Iain Glen, with Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty and music by MM Keeravani, the acclaimed composer behind RRR and Slumdog Millionaire. The film is produced by Anupam Kher Studios in collaboration with NFDC.

The official release date of the film is yet to be announced.
