Anupam Kher meets Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at his home

On Thursday, actor Anupam Kher visited Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at home.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Kher shared a string of pictures from their meeting and wrote, “It was my privilege and my honour to meet the dynamic #DefenceMinister of our country Shri. #RajnathSingh ji at his residence! His knowledge about various topics apart from our defence forces is vast and deep. Great learning experience. Thank you Sir for your warmth and hospitality! Jai Hind! @rajnathsingh.”

Kher was seen wearing blue pants and a black puffer jacket in the photos. Singh, though, was dressed in a beige checkered jacket and white Kurta pajamas. Singh presided over a high-level conference on Wednesday to assess the situation following the terror attack at Raj Bhawan in Jammu last week that claimed the lives of four Army jawans.

Senior officials from intelligence agencies, the Director General of Jammu and Kashmir, the Chief of the Army, and other relevant agencies were present at the meeting. Singh went over the general security situation and the current counterterrorism activities throughout the meeting. In terms of Anupam Kher’s career, he most recently starred with Mohit Raina in the action thriller series “The Freelancer.” His future films include “Emergency,” “Signature,” and the upcoming “Metro…In Dino” directed by Anurag Basu.
