March 20, 2025: The filmmaker praised Netflix’s British drama Adolescence for its bold narrative, powerful performances, and technical brilliance, especially highlighting how each episode was shot in a single take.

📌 He claimed that if Adolescence were pitched to Netflix India, they would have rejected it outright or forced the creators to turn it into a 90-minute film, instead of a full-fledged series.

🚨 Kashyap recalled his own struggles while working on Sacred Games, implying that Netflix India failed to recognize the true potential of Indian stories.
