After welcoming son Akaay in London, actress Anushka Sharma arrived back in Mumbai with her newborn on Tuesday. According to reports, Anushka showed Akaay to the paparazzi in Mumbai and kindly requested them not to photograph her children.
Akaay, born to Anushka and star cricketer Virat Kohli on February 15, 2024, has become the latest addition to their family. Virat and Anushka shared the joyful news of Akaay’s arrival through a statement on their official social media handles, expressing their gratitude and seeking blessings.
The couple, who tied the knot in Italy on December 11, 2017, were blessed with their first child, Vamika, on January 11, 2021. On the professional front, Virat Kohli is currently showcasing his cricket prowess with the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the ongoing 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Kohli has been in splendid form, leading the run-scoring charts with 361 runs from seven matches, including a century and two half-centuries. Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma is gearing up for her next project, the sports biopic film ‘Chakda Xpress,’ based on the life of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The film is set to premiere exclusively on an OTT platform, with the release date yet to be announced.
