AP Dhillon recently released the music video for his track “After Midnight” from his latest EP The Brownprint.
Set against the picturesque landscape of a rural village in Haryana, the video is both dramatic and emotionally charged, depicting themes of heartbreak, betrayal, and reconciliation.
Directed and edited by Dhillon himself, the storyline follows a modest shopkeeper, portrayed by Dhillon, as he deals with the emotional fallout of a failed relationship. Just as he seeks closure, his former lover returns unexpectedly, attempting to reignite their romance.
In his statement, AP Dhillon expressed how rewarding it was to direct and edit the video, emphasizing his goal of crafting a relatable story. He hopes the music video resonates with audiences, helping them feel understood through its universal themes of love and loss.
The release of “After Midnight” is part of The Brownprint EP, which features collaborations with artists like Shinda Kahlon, Jazzy B, and even Atlanta rapper Gunna. Other notable tracks on the EP include “Brownprint,” “Losing Myself,” and “Bora Bora,” with themes ranging from authenticity and strength to love and heartbreak.
