Arbaaz and Sshura Reveal Their Daughter’s Beautiful, Meaningful Name

Actor-producer Arbaaz Khan and his wife, Sshura Khan, announce their newborn daughter’s name as ‘Sipaara,’ which translates to ‘flower’ and ‘beautiful woman’ in Persian and Arabic respectively. The happy parents shared the news on social media, days after the baby girl was born on October 5th.

October 9, 2025: Bollywood star and producer Arbaaz Khan and his wife, makeup artist Sshura Khan, are officially celebrating the arrival of their newborn daughter, announcing her unique name—Sipaara Khan—on social media this Wednesday.

The couple, who tied the knot in December 2023, welcomed their baby girl on October 5 in Mumbai. They shared the happy news with a joint post on Instagram, which was quickly met with congratulatory messages from friends and the industry.

The Meaning of ‘Sipaara’

The name Sipaara is rooted in both Arabic and Persian cultures and is associated with themes of grace and nature.

  • Arabic: The name is connected to elegance and grace, often interpreted as “a beautiful woman.”
  • Persian: It evokes floral imagery, translating to “a flower” and symbolizing a deep appreciation of nature and art.
  • Urdu/Hindi: It also refers to one of the 30 parts (or ‘juz’) into which the Holy Quran is divided.

Homecoming and Fatherhood

Earlier on Wednesday, Sshura was discharged from Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital. A beaming Arbaaz was spotted taking his daughter home, cradling the infant in his arms as he briefly acknowledged the paparazzi before heading inside.

The arrival of Sipaara marks a new chapter for the couple. Arbaaz, who is already a father to 22-year-old Arhaan Khan from his previous marriage to Malaika Arora, had expressed his renewed excitement for fatherhood.

“I am getting into fatherhood now after some time. It’s a fresh new feeling for me all over again. I’m excited. I’m happy and I’m looking forward. It’s just giving me a new sense of happiness or responsibility,” Arbaaz had shared in a previous interaction with Delhi Times about Sshura’s pregnancy. He added that he simply intends to be a good parent to the newest member of the Khan family.
