March 11, 2025: Ariana Grande has announced the official release date for the deluxe edition of her seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine, which is set to drop on March 28. The expanded version of the album will be called Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead, and it will include several new songs, offering fans a fresh take on the original album.
Grande shared the exciting news on Instagram, revealing that the deluxe edition is already “in the can” and will feature some special new tracks. Back in January, she told Variety that she was eager to surprise her fans with the new music, but had been thinking carefully about when to release it. She noted that she didn’t want to add songs to the album “just for the sake of it,” emphasizing that the new tracks are “short but really count.”
While chatting about her plans for the album’s deluxe edition earlier this month at the Oscars red carpet, Grande teased fans to “keep your eyes peeled,” though she avoided giving a specific timeline, joking that she couldn’t use the word “soon” due to the pressure of expectations.
The deluxe edition of Eternal Sunshine comes just over a year after the original album’s release, which earned Grande three Grammy nominations. These included Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for the “The Boy Is Mine” remix with Brandy and Monica, and Best Dance Pop Recording for “Yes, And?”
Fans are excited for the new chapter in Eternal Sunshine, and the announcement of Brighter Days Ahead has only added to the anticipation for what’s to come.
