Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Rakul Preet Starrer Promises Journey Filled With Laughter, Chaos In ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ Trailer

February 2, 2025: The trailer for the much-anticipated Bollywood film Mere Husband Ki Biwi was unveiled on Saturday in Mumbai, featuring a star-studded cast of Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh. The event was attended by the entire film team, including the lead actors and director Mudassar Aziz, who is known for his previous work in films like Khel Khel Mein and Pati Patni Aur Woh.

In the film, Arjun Kapoor plays the character Ankur, a man whose life takes an unexpected turn. His ex-wife Prabhleen (played by Bhumi Pednekar) suffers from retrograde amnesia and has forgotten the past five to six years of her life. Meanwhile, Ankur is now engaged to Antara, portrayed by Rakul Preet Singh. The confusion and chaos ensue when Ankur fears that Prabhleen’s memory loss might be discovered by Antara, leading to a mess in his personal life. The trailer shows Ankur struggling to keep his past under wraps while navigating through the humorous complications of his relationships.

Speaking about his character, Arjun Kapoor explained, “Ankur has not landed himself in this situation willingly, but he was forced to. This happens in real life as well, where one person feels one way, and the other feels differently, creating complexities in a relationship. Through this film, we have tried to relate to reality through humor.”

The trailer promises a fun, comedic journey, with the characters finding themselves in increasingly awkward and humorous situations. The film also stars Dino Morea, Harsh Gujral, Shakti Kapoor, and others in pivotal roles.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, Mere Husband Ki Biwi is a lighthearted take on the quirks and complexities of romantic relationships. Aziz shared that the film is designed to be a wholesome entertainer that will bring families and friends together, making them laugh while delivering relatable moments that will linger long after the film ends.
