Actor says he was ‘seriously blown away’ by Bhumi’s performance in her latest web series

Actor Arjun Kapoor has showered praise on Bhumi Pednekar’s latest web series Daldal, calling it a gripping and intense watch. Taking to social media, Arjun shared his review after what appeared to be a binge-watch session, applauding both the show and Bhumi’s performance.

Sharing an Instagram story, Arjun wrote, “Daldal is a ride—tense, thrilling, and darkly compelling from start to finish 🙌 @bhumipednekar is crushing it, seriously blown away 👏.” His endorsement has sparked curiosity among viewers who are yet to catch the series.

Daldal marks Bhumi Pednekar’s return to the digital space after a nine-month break from acting. The series follows the story of DCP Rita Ferreira, a tough police officer investigating a string of brutal murders while navigating deep-rooted patriarchy within the system. The show has drawn attention for its dark tone and socially charged narrative.

Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar previously worked together in The Lady Killer (2023), which turned out to be a major box-office disappointment. Despite that, Arjun’s public appreciation of Bhumi’s latest work reflects strong professional support between the two actors.

Before Daldal, Bhumi appeared in Mere Husband Ki Biwi (2025) alongside Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh, and made her OTT debut opposite Ishaan Khatter in The Royals. Following heavy trolling for the latter, Bhumi took time off to recalibrate personally and professionally.

On the work front, Bhumi will next be seen in Adhoore Hum Adhoore Tum opposite actor Imran Khan, marking his comeback to Bollywood after more than a decade. She is also set to return with The Royals Season 2, once again sharing screen space with Ishaan Khatter.
