
Arjun Kapoor Reflects on 12 Years in Bollywood, Talks About Villainous Role in 'Singham Again
Arjun Kapoor, who marked his Bollywood debut with the 2012 film ‘Ishaqzaade’, recently celebrated 12 years in the industry. Reflecting on his journey, he expressed gratitude for the opportunity to portray diverse characters and explore various genres.
Sharing his experience, Kapoor mentioned how portraying Parma Chauhan in ‘Ishaqzaade’ was a departure from his personal self. He described the character as violent, volatile, and unpredictable, offering him a unique and fulfilling start to his acting journey.
Currently immersed in the filming of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’, Kapoor expressed excitement about playing an out-and-out villain in the movie. He sees this role as a continuation of his career journey, offering him the chance to delve deeper into his craft and challenge himself as an actor.

Speaking about his role in ‘Singham Again’, Kapoor shared his enthusiasm for experimenting on-screen and providing audiences with something different. He expressed hope for a positive reception, especially given the intrigue generated by the film’s first look.
‘Singham Again’, helmed by Rohit Shetty, boasts a star-studded cast including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Ranveer Singh. Scheduled for a theatrical release in August 2024, coinciding with Independence Day, the film marks the third installment of the highly successful ‘Singham’ franchise.
