Aryan Khan Unveils ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’ Preview – A Bold, Star-Studded Netflix Debut
The preview immediately struck a chord with the audience, opening with the narration: “In this world, some are born at the house of a hero, while some are born as heroes.” The dramatic lines set the tone for a high-energy tale of ambition, fame, and survival in the chaotic world of Bollywood.
At the center of it all is Lakshya, who steps into the spotlight as Aasmaan Singh, a fiery dreamer navigating the glitzy yet treacherous lanes of India’s film industry. The preview teases his whirlwind journey—romancing the daughter of India’s biggest superstar (played by Bobby Deol), fighting ruthless enemies, and facing the inevitable clash between dreams and reality.
“This is the ultimate underdog story,” the press release declared. “How far will you go for your dream? What are you willing to lose? And can you survive a few Bollywood baddies along the way (pun intended!)”
Adding to the drama are stellar performances from Raghav Juyal and Mona Singh, along with a powerhouse supporting cast that includes Sahher Bambba, Manoj Pahwa, Manish Chaudhari, Anya Singh, Vijayant Kohli, Rajat Bedi, and Gautami Kapoor. To top it off, the show promises jaw-dropping cameos by industry giants Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, and Salman Khan.
Netflix India’s Vice-President of Content, Monika Shergill, praised Aryan’s vision, saying:
“‘The Ba**ds of Bollywood’ is witty, bold, and a true roast-and-toast to Bollywood—a story bursting with love, drama, passion, ambition, family, and friendship. When Aryan Khan shared his vision for his debut, we knew we were setting the stage for something truly special and disruptive.”*
The event wasn’t just about the preview; it was about a proud father introducing his son’s cinematic world to the audience. Shah Rukh Khan himself presented the full cast, lending his magnetic presence to a night that was both personal and historic for the Khan family.
Written and directed by Aryan Khan and backed by Red Chillies Entertainment, ‘The Ba**ds of Bollywood’* will begin streaming on Netflix from September 18, 2025.
