Ashish Chanchlani Shares Emotional Message Amid ‘India’s Got Latent’ Controversy

March 4, 2025: After the Supreme Court allowed podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia to resume his podcast The Ranveer Show with conditions, popular YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani took to Instagram to address his followers for the first time since the controversy surrounding the two influencers erupted.

In an emotional video, Ashish acknowledged the overwhelming support from his fans and expressed gratitude for their continued faith in him during tough times. “Hello doston, kaise ho aap log? I know, maine aapke messages padhe hain, chal raha hai. Maine socha story pe aapse baat kar lun, lekin ab samajh nahi aa raha kya kahun. Lad lenge situation se, dekhe hain aise tough times, isse bhi kuch naya seekh lenge,” he said, sharing his thoughts in Hindi.

Ashish also requested that his followers continue to support him as he navigates this challenging period. “Main aap sabse bas yahi request karta hoon ki meri family aur mujhe apni prayers mein rakhna. Jab bhi main wapas aaun, mera kaam thoda idhar-udhar ho gaya hoga, lekin tab bhi support karna. I will work hard, as I have always worked hard. Bas dhyan rakhiye sab log apna,” he added, urging his fans to continue supporting him when he returns to posting content.

Meanwhile, Ranveer Allahbadia was allowed by the Supreme Court to resume his podcast, but with certain conditions aimed at maintaining decency and morality on his platform. The The Ranveer Show podcast faced heavy scrutiny after Allahbadia made offensive comments on air during an appearance on India’s Got Latent, where he asked a contestant a disturbing question. The video quickly went viral, attracting widespread backlash from social media users for the inappropriate nature of his remark.

In response to the public outcry, Allahbadia issued a heartfelt apology. In a video shared on his social media platform X, Allahbadia admitted that his remarks were inappropriate and acknowledged that his comment lacked humor. “My comment wasn’t just inappropriate, it wasn’t even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry,” he said, expressing regret over his lapse in judgment. Allahbadia also addressed concerns regarding his influence on younger audiences, promising to use his platform more responsibly moving forward. “Family is the last thing that I would ever disrespect,” he added.

Both influencers, in their respective statements, have emphasized the importance of being responsible and maintaining ethical standards on their platforms, and they are working towards regaining their followers’ trust after facing criticism.
