Muhammad Aslam, father of the popular Pakistani singer, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 77. The singer posted a heartfelt tribute on social media, calling him “my Iron Man,” and requested his fans to pray for him.
August 13, 2025: Atif Aslam, a Pakistani musician known for his hit Bollywood songs, is sad since his father, Muhammad Aslam, died on Tuesday at the age of 77. The artist wrote a touching homage on social media, showing a picture of himself with his father and writing a sincere note.
Aslam said in a post that has since gone viral, “A final goodbye to my Iron Man.” Rest in peace, Abu G. He also asked his fans and followers to pray for his father, according to reports. Pakistani news reports say that the funeral will take place at Valencia Town, Lahore, after the Asr prayers.
After the announcement, several famous people and prominent personalities, including Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, sent their sympathies.
Atif Aslam was going to make a comeback with the movie LSO90’s (Love Story of the 90s). He had been away from Bollywood music for about eight years. But the renewed restriction on Pakistani musicians in India after the recent Pahalgam terror attack has reportedly stopped him from coming back.
