Atul Kulkarni Visits Kashmir, Urges Tourists to Return After Pahalgam Terror Attack

April 27, 2025: Actor Atul Kulkarni recently visited Kashmir following the tragic terror attack in Pahalgam, expressing his support for the region and urging people across India to visit Kashmir and help revive its tourism industry.

The actor, known for his role in Bandish Bandits, shared a series of photos on Instagram documenting his journey from Mumbai to Srinagar. He posted pictures of empty flight seats, his boarding pass, and a heartfelt note from the flight crew, stating, “Mumbai to Srinagar. The crew says they were running full. We need to fill them up again. Chaliye ji, Kashmir chalein.”

Atul also shared a photo from Pahalgam, a popular tourist destination, which appeared unusually empty. Known for its bustling tourism, the area now had few visitors, reflecting the fear and uncertainty following the attack.

The actor further showcased the beauty of Kashmir, posting images of clear skies, flowing streams, and serene landscapes. He also highlighted the resilience of the local Kashmiris by sharing photos of them holding placards that read, “We condemn this attack,” and others proudly waving the Indian flag.

In his post, Atul Kulkarni included a Hindi poem and several powerful hashtags, including #ChaloKashmir, #Feet_in_Kashmir, #Kashmiriyat, #Love_Compassion, and #DefeatTerror, calling for unity, compassion, and peace in the region.

The attack on April 22 at Baisaran meadow in Pahalgam claimed the lives of 25 Indian nationals and one Nepali citizen, leaving several others injured. It marked one of the deadliest attacks in the Valley since the 2019 Pulwama strike. Atul’s visit is an act of solidarity with the people of Kashmir during these challenging times.
