Australian Cricketer David Warner Makes Telugu Cinema Debut With ‘Robinhood’, Unveils First Look

March 16, 2025: David Warner, the explosive Australian cricketer, is stepping into the world of Telugu cinema. The cricketer announced via his X account on Saturday that he will be making a special appearance in the upcoming film Robinhood, which also stars Nithiin and Sreeleela. Sharing the film’s poster and his look, Warner also revealed the release date: “Grand Release Worldwide on March 28th.”

Directed by Venky Kudumula and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Robinhood promises to be an action-packed entertainer. The film’s music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, and it marks the second collaboration between Nithiin and Venky, following their successful film Bheeshma.

Warner, who has a massive fanbase in India, has long been a fan of Telugu cinema. The former Sunrisers Hyderabad captain, who led the team to an IPL victory in 2016, won hearts with his dance videos during the COVID-19 lockdown. His reels featuring Telugu songs like “Srivalli” from Pushpa and “Mind Block” from Sarileru Neekevvaru gained him a huge following, further solidifying his love for Indian culture and cinema.

Fans can look forward to Warner’s exciting cameo in this action-packed movie set for release later this month.
