Ayesha Kapur, The Little Girl From ‘Black’, Ties The Knot With Adam Oberoi

March 24, 2025: Ayesha Kapur, who gained fame for her role as the young Rani Mukerji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s critically acclaimed film Black (2005), has tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Adam Oberoi. The couple got married in a beautiful, intimate ceremony held in Delhi over the weekend, surrounded by their closest family and friends.

Ayesha, who played the younger version of Rani Mukerji’s character Michelle in the movie, looked absolutely stunning in a soft pink lehenga paired with a matching dupatta. Her husband, Adam Oberoi, complemented her look perfectly with a pastel sherwani and a pink turban for the special occasion.

Ayesha rose to fame as a child actor in Black, where she portrayed the young Michelle, a girl with visual and hearing impairments. The film, which explored Michelle’s journey with the help of her dedicated teacher, played by Amitabh Bachchan, became one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films of the year and garnered multiple accolades, including three National Film Awards. Ayesha’s powerful performance earned her widespread praise, and she was trained for her role by Ranbir Kapoor, who was an assistant director on the film.

Though she had a promising career ahead, Ayesha stepped away from the film industry after Black and made her next appearance in the 2009 film Sikandar. She was also slated to appear in Shekhar Kapur’s Paani alongside Sushant Singh Rajput, but the project never materialized. Since then, Ayesha has largely stayed out of the public eye, and now, fans are congratulating her on her new chapter in life with Adam.

Her wedding marks a new milestone in Ayesha’s personal journey, as she moves away from her childhood fame and embraces her future with her partner.
