January 6, 2025: Newcomers Aaman Devgn, nephew of Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn, and Rasha Thadani, daughter of actress Raveena Tandon, are all set to make their big-screen debuts with the upcoming period drama Azaad. The highly anticipated film, directed by Abhishek Kapoor, has already started generating buzz, especially with the recent release of its trailer and music.
The trailer introduces Ajay Devgn as a rebel (“baaghi”) and a skilled horse rider, deeply connected to his loyal horse. The gripping narrative takes a dramatic turn when the horse goes missing during a fierce battle against the British forces. Aaman Devgn’s character steps up to help locate the horse, signaling his pivotal role in the story. The trailer also hints at the close bond between Ajay’s and Aaman’s characters, with the younger Devgn looking up to his uncle as a mentor. Meanwhile, Rasha Thadani portrays a character from a royal family, adding depth to the film’s rich historical backdrop.
A few days ago, the makers released a new song titled ‘Uyi Amma’, which showcases Rasha’s dancing skills. The song, composed by Amit Trivedi, features the soulful vocals of Madhubanti Bagchi and has already caught the attention of music lovers. The lyrics for the track were penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, further elevating the anticipation for the film’s soundtrack.
Speaking about his nephew’s debut, Ajay Devgn expressed his admiration for Aaman’s dedication to the project. In an earlier interview, Ajay said, “I have a significant role in his film as well. The trailer has been released, and people are liking it. Fingers crossed. He is a very hardworking boy.”
