After an impressive opening day, Varun Dhawan’s Baby John sees a significant decline on Day 2, with mixed reviews impacting its momentum.

December 27, 2024: Varun Dhawan’s Baby John, which hit theatres on December 25, started on a strong note with a ₹11.25 crore opening day collection. However, the film faced a sharp drop in numbers on Day 2, earning only ₹3.9 crore (nett) in India.

According to trade tracking website Sacnilk, the total domestic box office collection now stands at approximately ₹15.17 crore nett after two days.

About Baby John

Directed by Kalees and produced by Atlee, Baby John is the official Hindi remake of the Tamil blockbuster ‘Theri,’ which originally starred Vijay. The film stars Varun Dhawan in the titular role, alongside Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi in key roles. Supporting actors include Jackie Shroff and Rajpal Yadav, with a special cameo appearance by Salman Khan.

The film tells the gripping story of a cop who assumes a new identity to protect his daughter, only to be forced to confront his past when her life is threatened.
