‘Bad Newz’: Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri Shine in New Track ‘Rabb Warga’

Building anticipation for the romantic comedy-drama ‘Bad Newz,’ the makers have released a new track titled ‘Rabb Warga,’ featuring the charismatic Vicky Kaushal and the enchanting Triptii Dimri. Vicky took to Instagram to share the captivating song video, which showcases the blossoming romance between his character Akhil and Triptii’s character Saloni amidst breathtaking locations.

‘Rabb Warga’ is a melodious composition by Abhijeet Srivastava, beautifully sung by Jubin Nautiyal, with poignant lyrics penned by Shayra Apoorva. The song immediately struck a chord with fans, who flooded the comment section with praises. One fan wrote, “Lost in the emotions of Rabb Warga,” while another exclaimed, “UFF UFF…..WHAT A CHEMISTRY!!!!”

The film ‘Bad Newz’ promises a hilarious twist on traditional rom-com themes by diving into the chaotic world of heteropaternal superfecundation, a scenario involving two fathers, one mother, and one impending arrival. The trailer stars Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk as two men navigating very different paths to fatherhood, with Triptii Dimri as the spirited woman caught in the middle of this unusual double paternity situation.

Joining the cast is Neha Dhupia, as hinted in the trailer, which teases a whirlwind of confusion, comical misunderstandings, and undeniable chemistry among the lead trio. The trailer offers a preview of laugh-out-loud moments, from hospital mix-ups to awkward family dinners.

Adding to the excitement, the film includes a remix of the beloved song ‘Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam’ from the 1998 hit comedy-action film ‘Duplicate,’ originally starring Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, and Sonali Bendre.

‘Bad Newz’ showcases Vicky Kaushal grappling with his new reality, while Ammy Virk injects his signature humour, and Triptii Dimri shines as the determined woman at the heart of the chaos. Directed by Anand Tiwari, the film is seen as a successor to the 2019 hit ‘Good Newwz,’ which featured Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani, and Diljit Dosanjh.

Co-produced by Anand Tiwari, Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Amritpal Singh Bindra, ‘Bad Newz’ is scripted by Ishita Moitra and Tarun Dudeja. The film is set to hit theatres on July 19, promising an emotional rollercoaster filled with rib-tickling humour.
