February 15, 2025: Badass Ravikumar Box Office Collection Day 8: Fading at the Box Office?

Himesh Reshammiya’s action-musical Badass Ravikumar has taken a major hit at the box office, especially after Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava entered the competition.

Despite opening with ₹2.75 crore on February 7, the film has failed to retain momentum and has now dropped to mere lakhs per day.

On Day 8 (February 14), the film collected only ₹2 lakh, bringing its total domestic net earnings to ₹8.22 crore, according to Sacnilk.

Meanwhile, Chhaava had a massive opening of ₹31 crore, completely overshadowing Reshammiya’s retro-action flick.

Why is Badass Ravikumar Struggling?

  • Stiff Competition: The release of Chhaava has completely sidelined Badass Ravikumar.
  • Drop in Audience Interest: After its opening weekend, the film saw a 60%+ drop in collections.
  • Other Releases: The re-release of Sanam Teri Kasam and Junaid Khan-Khushi Kapoor’s Loveyapa have also added to the competition.
  • Niche Appeal: While the film was promoted as a throwback to 80s Bollywood action films, it failed to connect with mass audiences beyond Himesh’s fan base.

Trade Experts React: “Masaledar but Niche”

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh gave the movie 3.5 stars, calling it:

“A wild, crazy, over-the-top ride that transports you to the cinema of 1980s… Don’t ask questions or look for logic… Extra points for its high-energy songs and seetimaar dialogues.”

However, despite this retro appeal, the film has failed to sustain box office numbers.

What’s Next for Badass Ravikumar?

  • With a sharp decline in daily earnings, the film might struggle to cross ₹12 crore lifetime.
  • If it continues at this rate, it could exit theatres in its second week unless there is a weekend recovery.

Final Verdict: Can It Recover?

With Chhaava ruling the box office and audiences moving on, Badass Ravikumar seems to be on its way out.

Can the film pull off a miracle recovery, or is it set to become one of 2025’s biggest box office disappointments? Stay tuned for more updates! 🎬
