Badass Ravikumar Box Office Day 2: Himesh Reshammiya's Film Leads Loveyapa Despite Drop
February 9, 2025: Badass Ravikumar, the spin-off of Himesh Reshammiya’s 2014 film The Xposé, continues to stay ahead in the box office race despite witnessing a dip on its second day. The musical parody, known for its over-the-top action and entertainment, has outperformed Loveyapa, which struggles to gain traction at the ticket counters.
On Day 1, Badass Ravikumar opened to mixed-to-negative reviews but managed a respectable ₹2.75 crore. According to early estimates from Sacnilk, the film earned ₹1.99 crore on Saturday, bringing its two-day total to ₹4.74 crore. With an occupancy rate of 9.38%, the film recorded 6.74% for morning shows and 12.01% for afternoon screenings.

Despite the drop, Himesh Reshammiya’s film maintained a significant lead over Loveyapa. The romantic drama starring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, a Hindi remake of the Tamil film Love Today, earned ₹1.16 crore on Day 2, bringing its total to ₹2.31 crore in two days.

Directed by Keith Gomes and produced by Himesh Reshammiya Melodies, the film blends action, music, and comedy in a parody format. The cast includes prominent names like Prabhu Deva, Kirti Kulhari, Simona J, Saurabh Sachdeva, Sanjay Mishra, and Johnny Lever.
