Badshah Song Row: Haryana Police Initiates Look Out Circular; Raids Underway to Arrest Rapper

The legal trouble for rapper Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, better known as Badshah, has intensified as the Haryana Police initiated the process to issue a Look Out Circular (LOC) against him. This move follows the registration of an FIR at the Cybercrime Police Station in Panchkula over his controversial Haryanvi track, Tateeree. Authorities have also served a formal notice requiring the artist to appear before the police for questioning.

In a swift crackdown on Saturday, March 7, 2026, the Haryana Police confirmed that the song has been removed from YouTube. Efforts are now underway to scrub the track from all other social media platforms. According to official statements, police teams are currently conducting raids to facilitate an arrest. The authorities have further warned the public that “strict legal action” will be taken against anyone found sharing or promoting the objectionable content online.

The FIR cites violations under Section 296 of the IPC and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act. The complaint, filed by a local social activist, alleges that the music video—which features girls in school uniforms—contains indecent gestures and lyrics that disrespect the dignity of women and educational institutions. While the investigation continues, Badshah has yet to issue a public statement or apology regarding the matter.
