Badshah’s Honourable Visit to the New Parliament Building

Rapper-singer Badshah had the esteemed opportunity to explore the new Parliament building on Sunday, marking a significant milestone in his career.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Badshah shared a series of captivating pictures from his visit to the architectural marvel.

“Something special coming soon,” he teased in the caption, hinting at future projects inspired by this experience.

As the first music personality to receive a special invitation from the Government of India to visit the new Parliament building in New Delhi, the 39-year-old artist expressed profound gratitude and honor.

Reflecting on his experience, Badshah remarked, “I am incredibly grateful and honored to have had the chance to visit the new Parliament building. It is a celebration of India’s diverse cultural tapestry and heritage and also reflects the spirit of our people and our democracy.”

Badshah, known for his appreciation of Indian heritage, cherished the opportunity to witness the architectural grandeur and cultural significance of the monumental structure. He particularly enjoyed a detailed tour of the Sangeet Gallery, which showcases India’s rich traditions of dance, song, and music.

The new Parliament building, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in May last year, stands as a testament to India’s progress and unity. Its triangular shape optimizes space utilization, housing essential chambers like the Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, and a Central Lounge.

Constructed using red and white sandstone from Rajasthan’s Sarmathura and Kesaria green stone from Udaipur, the building symbolizes India’s rich craftsmanship and architectural prowess.

Badshah joins a distinguished list of celebrities, including Ayushmann Khurrana, Rakul Preet Singh, Kangana Ranaut, and others, who have also visited the new Parliament building.

On the professional front, Badshah is gearing up for his expansive debut global tour across South East Asia, USA, Europe, and Canada in support of his acclaimed third studio album ‘Ek Tha Raja’. Additionally, he is poised to make new entrepreneurial ventures later this year, further expanding his investment and brand empire.
