This year, “Conclave” and “Emilia Perez” lead the nominations, with both films receiving widespread recognition. “Conclave,” directed by Edward Berger, has earned 12 nominations, including Best Film, Director, and Leading Actor for Ralph Fiennes. Both “Conclave” and “Emilia Perez” have dominated the longlists, although they swapped positions at the top, with “Emilia Perez” originally receiving 15 longlist nominations compared to “Conclave’s” 14. Additionally, the film “Wicked” received 7 nominations.
